Soundgarden – 35th Anniversary Vinyl Reissues
The first three albums in the series includes their
breakthrough 1991 album, Badmotorfinger,
pressed unto 2 LPs of 180g marbled red and dark purple vinyl, along with an
amazing, removable lenticular cover and an etching on the fourth side. The
set also features remastered audio from the album’s 25th anniversary
reissue in 2016.
Next, 1994’s mainstream masterpiece, Superunknown - celebrating its own 25th
anniversary this year - is a 2LP set pressed unto 180g translucent red and
orange vinyl that matches the album artwork and features remastered audio from the
original analog tapes in 2014 and a lyric booklet.
Finally, 1996’s Down
On The Upside, also a 2LP set, is pressed onto 180g vinyl that is a
stunning swirled orange and marbled lavender colorway.
There is much more to come from Soundgarden’s 35th
anniversary celebration this year so stay tuned!
