PREMIERE: Sadbox – “Carry It Close”

Dayton's Sadbox - featuring members of The 1984 Draft - are set to release their debut album, The Magic Nothing at a record release show at The Yellow Cab on June 28. Also playing are Salvadore Ross and Age Nowhere.   

Led by vocalist/guitarist/songwriter Paul Levy, along with guitarist Eli Alban (also of the 1984 Draft), bassist Ryan Goudy and drummer Ray Owens; Sadbox creates an infectiously catchy, 90's inspired brand of indie rock on their debut album, The Magic Nothing.     

Atlas and the Anchor is proud to premiere the album’s opening track, "Carry It Close".  The propulsive track is a swirl of 90's alt. rock and psych-pop melodies, reminiscent of a more unhinged Stone Temple Pilots.  It is the perfect introduction to the band and sets the tone for the rest of the album.
