INTERVIEW: Nightly

Lifelong friends and cousins Jonathan Capeci and Joey Beretta dropped out of college and moved to Nashville, TN to pursue their dream. In 2016 they formed the synth-driven alt-pop band Nightly with friends Stephen Cunsolo and Nicholas Sainato. In 2017 they released their debut EP Honest featuring the single XO that has had over eight millions streams on Spotify alone.

Nightly have been busy in 2018, releasing two new singles Stay and Phantom. Recently, they have been the supporting act for Dove Award winning rap/singer NF on his North American tour, that sold out many shows on the first leg of the tour. The second leg of the tour is currently in progress and their electric and interactive show is something can only be appreciated when seen live. Be sure to check out the dates here. They are currently working on a new EP that will be released in the fall of 2018 on Interscope Records.

Atlas and the Anchor had the opportunity to ask this up and coming band a few questions.

AATA: Have you been able to win over NF fans from your latest tour?
Jonathan Capeci: The reception has been amazing. The fans have definitely embraced us. We're very grateful.

AATA: Who are your musical inspirations?
Jonathan Capeci: We love tons of music. The Killers, Coldplay, U2, Kings of Leon, Frank Ocean, Miguel, and about a million more.

AATA: If you could tour with anyone who would it be?
Jonathan Capeci: Hmm, maybe U2, that would be insanity.

AATA: When can we expect an album from Nightly?
Jonathan Capeci: We're almost finished releasing songs for our second EP. We also already have a bunch of new songs after that, so that feels like it might be the next step.

Be sure to check out Nightly on tour, you won't be disappointed.
