Stream It From The Mountain: Conveyer – “When Given Time To Grow”

Conveyer, the Minneapolis-based melodic Christian hardcore band recently released When Given Time To Grow, their stunning sophomore album and label debut for Victory Records.  The quintet creates an emotionally-charged brand of spirit filled hardcore that matches the intensity of the lyrical themes that deal with fear, guilt, lust, and hopelessness alongside the hope in God throughout those trials. 

Led by “Haven”, the cathartic and anthemic first single and video, the 11-track album is the perfect balance of mayhem and melody (without clean singing) and they throw in some dissonant Snapcase-like guitar influence - on standout track “Ruined” - and off-kilter breakdowns for good measure.  Additionally, Cam Smith of Hotel Books contributes vocals to the passionate and dynamic album closer, “Impatience”.
