REISSUE: Steadfast Records: The First Two Seven Inches
Cleveland-based Steadfast Records anticipates the 30th anniversary of their label’s very first releases with a new compilation of their first two seven-inch releases, the aptly-titled, "Steadfast Records The First Two Seven Inches."
Out now, the release combines their first two 7” record
releases, both originally released in 1995 and 1996 and both featuring iconic
metal band Zao. The debut 7”, "The
Tie That Binds," features stunning early Zao material alongside two explosive
tracks from Dayton, OH straight edge hardcore band Outcast, from which the
metalcore legends Morning Again were born.
The second 7”, "Treadwater…," is a split between Zao and
Through and Through from BC, Canada.
The reissue features new artwork and photos and the tracks
were remastered by Adam Boose at Cauliflower Audio. Additionally, the Zao track,
"Security," intended for the original 7” but omitted due to time
constraints – but later appeared on a CD reissue – is included as a bonus
track.
This release is limited to only 400 copies worldwide, and
pressed on four unique 100% recycled Eco-Mix vinyl variants, each limited to
100 copies (cherry red, laguna blue, graphite grey and citrus orange).
