SHOW ALERT: Shy Boys & Fullbloods in Ohio at The Tree Bar (Columbus) and South Park Tavern (Dayton)

K.C. garage-pop band Shy Boys released their excellent eponymous debut album in early 2014 via High Dive Records to great praise.  The trio is currently touring the Midwest and will be coming to Ohio for a few dates including stops at The Tree Bar in Columbus on Tuesday, July 26 and South Park Tavern on Wednesday, July 27.  High Dive Records label mates, Fullbloods – who released their new album, Mild West last fall - are joining them on tour.

Shy Boys create a loose and raw brand of surf rock-inspired garage-pop with reverb rich guitars, propulsive rhythms, infectious 60’s pop melodies and swooning falsetto vocals.

Fullbloods have crafted a nostalgia-inducing yet modern take on indie-pop inspired by 70’s-era soft rock, disco and lounge that they combine with spacey, strange vintage synth lines, jangly guitars and catchy, velvet-smooth vocal melodies throughout.
