Stream It From The Mountain: Thighmaster – Between The Knees And Squeeze

Thighmaster is an enigmatic new Lawrence, KS-based garage-pop band led by Maxfield Yoder of Dean Monkey & the Dropouts and Plains.  Their debut release titled, Between The Knees And Squeeze, is out now on High Dive Records. 

The 7-song collection with titles such as, “Jane Fonda You” and The Good, The Bad, The Boxflex” evokes neon leotards, jazzercise on VHS and late night infomercials.  Musically, Yoder and crew blend hip-shaking post-punk rhythms, dream pop bliss and surf rock jangle for an impressive debut.
